Hivedeck is a no-code website builder for restaurant owners helping them create, manage, and grow their online presence straight from their phones.The app was already functional, but the experience didn’t feel like the “friendly helper” Hivedeck promised to be. It worked, but it lacked warmth, flow, and brand cohesion.
Restaurant owners needed something smoother, faster, and easier to rely on daily.That’s where Wazobia Technologies came in
Key challenges
Even though the app was packed with useful features, content editing, analytics and customer engagement, users struggled to get things done quicklyWe uncovered three major issues:
- Inconsistent UI patterns created friction.
- Onboarding and navigation felt heavy.
- The design didn’t reflect Hivedeck’s approachable brand tone.
The mission was clear: turn a functional tool into a seamless, brand-driven experience that restaurant owners would actually enjoy using.

Our Approach
Wazobia Tech led a full UX and UI redesign, starting with a detailed heuristic audit and user flow mapping.We worked closely with Hivedeck’s product and engineering teams to:
- Define clear design principles rooted in usability and brand expression.
- Simplify core workflows like onboarding and content editing.
- Redesign dashboards and analytics for faster insight discovery.
- Introduce a mobile design system which is also a scalable component library that allowed future features to be designed and developed seamlessly.
Throughout the process, we ensured the app didn’t just look better , it felt smarter, faster, and friendlier to use.
